Inevitably Contemporary

Being contemporary is inevitable. Our existence is intricately interlaced with the times we live in. However, not all of the art being produced currently is contemporary. From this standpoint, I engage with art that poetically confronts its own time. Whether from a curatorial perspective, by way of the written word or in talks, classes and guided visits to exhibitions and biennales, contemporary art is approached as a way of looking and thinking our world.
